Orlando Magic guard E’Twaun Moore helped lift the Magic to a 115-111 win over the Brooklyn Nets. In the second quarter, Moore became unstoppable as he scored 14 points in a stretch of a little over two minutes. His performance helped the Magic gain a 16 point lead in the first half.
The Nets fought hard in the third quarter and got back in the game. The game was tied towards the end of the third quarter but that didn’t affect the Magic. Moore ended the quarter with a 3-pointer, which gave the rest of the team momentum into the final quarter. The Nets kept fighting throughout the fourth quarter but Magic big man Kyle O’Quinn made a key block with 9.2 seconds left in the game, which ended the Nets’ chances to win.
