Four Magic Players On 2014 NBA All-Star Ballot

Magic fans around the world can now vote for Arron Afflalo, Victor Oladipo, Nikola Vucevic and Tobias Harris to participate in the 2014 NBA All-Star game via social media, the NBA Game Time App, text message or via the NBA’s website.

Nik Vucevic is currently averaging 15.8 points per game, 11.8 rebounds per game, 2.8 assists per game, 1.0 blocks per game and 1.3 steals per game. Last season, Vucevic was just .5 rebounds per game behind matching Dwight Howard for best rebounding average in the NBA.

One goal that the Magic set for Arron Afflalo this year was to become a more efficient player and so far he is doing just that. He is currently averaging a career and team best of 19.5 points per game.

Prior to arriving in Orlando, Tobias Harris appeared in 70 career NBA regular season games, all with the Bucks, averaging 4.9 points per game (ppg.), and 2.3 rebounds per game (rpg.) in 11.5 minutes per game (minpg.) In Orlando, things changed for Harris, in th 27 games he appeared in he averaged 17.3 ppg., 8.5 rpg., 2.1 assists per game, 1.37 blocks per game in 36.1 minpg. Harris hasn’t played this season as he is currently dealing with an ankle injury but should return to the Magic’s lineup in the next couple of weeks.

Rookie Victor Oladipo is currently averaging 11.9 points per game, 3.0 assists and 1.6 steals per game. In his first few games of the season, Oladipo played well against fan favorites Chris Paul, Derrick Williams and Ricky Rubio. From this point on he can only get better, it just takes time for players to transition into the NBA.
