Tracy McGrady Talks About Pitching & Training With Roger Clemens

Over the weekend news broke (LINK HERE) that former NBA Superstar Tracy McGrady  was attempting a baseball career as a pitcher and was working out with Roger Clemens and the Sugar Land Skeeters.

Tonight he was on MLB Network Radio on SiriusXM and says that he’s always wanted to play baseball. He says of pitching, “I was going to give it a shot a few years ago when we had a NBA Lockout so I went to LA and worked out with Tom House for a week.”

He says that working out with Roger Clemens has been a great help because he is a very visual person and he has an opportunity to watch Clemens and his mechanics.

I am a fan of all sports but am most passionate about baseball. From the fanatical to analytical, nothing about the game escapes me. Being born and raised in Northeast Ohio I'm very familiar with the heartache and pain that sports can bring and hope that I bring some understanding of the other side to my coverage. I will focus mostly on baseball but also cover the Tampa Bay Lightning, one of the most electric franchises in all of sports. Always willing to converse about any sport and have only one rule and that is be respectful at all times.
