Wade has not played since he left in the third quarter of last Saturday’s game in Charlotte to receive treatment on his right knee. He has been battling soreness in both knees since last season’s playoffs and was limited throughout the Heat’s run to their second consecutive title last season.
After missing two games earlier this week to focus on strengthening his knees, Wade insisted he’s ready to play.
“I’ve been able to do things on the court and in the weight room,” Wade said after Friday’s practice at AmericanAirlines Arena.
