According to Yahoo Sports, Sterling failed to show up to his court hearing Monday, which was the first of a four-day probate hearing to fight the ruling that declared he was suffering from a mental illness.
Even though Sterling wanted this case to prove that he is mentally capable of making decisions, he was nowhere to be found.
But, this seems like a win for Shelly Sterling, who did show up to the hearing.
USA Today calls Sterling’s absence a “singular victory” for Shelly. Donald was subpoenaed to be in court and he wasn’t even there to defend himself.
Where they go from here is up to the judge.
