The biggest story this week was not about Johnny Manziel or Jadeveon Clowney or anything of the sort. Rather, it was focused on the views of Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling.
Commissioner Adam Silver imposed a lifetime ban and it seemed to satisfy a league of players and fans who would get nasty if they heard anything other than what they deemed just. But as teams organized boycotts of playoff games, Silver was completely oblivious.

Doesn’t it make you feel good to know his decision on the investigation wasn’t driven by the players? Even though their opinions were so public. He didn’t even consult the league owners. He just banned Sterling just because he was personally mad.
