The Affordable Car Act has been detailed in commercials on TV, radio, print ads, and more. But now, President Obama has recruited a big NBA name to get people to sign up–Lebron James.
In this video, LeBron encourages viewers to sign up and gives clear instructions on how to do so.
It’s obviously a blunt political statement and a risky one at that. It seems that protecting current endorsement deals isn’t something of concern to LeBron. James told the Bleacher Report that he’s not concerned about the repercussions of this ad.
“I mean, I can’t worry about that. Especially who I am. I mean, I know that everything that I do is going to be bigger than what it should be or blown out of proportion. But what I believe in and the people that I support is what it’s all about. So I can sleep comfortably at night.”
