LeBron James is swollen and sore after suffering a blow and cuts to the face in the Miami Heat’s win Thursday night against the Oklahoma City Thunder, but he expects to play Sunday when the Heat host the Chicago Bulls (3:30 p.m. ET on ABC), sources told ESPN.com.
James left the Heat’s 103-81 victory over the Thunder in the fourth quarter after Serge Ibaka caught him on the face on a drive to the basket. James bled on the floor and went to the locker room, and he did not return to the game or speak with media afterward. He scored the last of his 33 points on the play, on which no foul was called.
