With the Los Angeles Lakers (16-31) and without star Kobe Bryant for the next three weeks, the team is looking to move the star forward to the Phoenix Suns.
This years NBA draft may be the deepest and most talented draft since 2003.
While it’s clear there are no LeBron James’ in this class, players like Andrew Wiggins, Jabari Parker, Julius Randle and Joel Embiid possibly available the Lakers need to look at rebuilding.
In doing so dumping Gasol’s massive contract and acquiring one of the Suns many first round draft picks, may give this franchise the added boost it desperately needs.
In return the Lakers would also get Emeka Okafor, who has not played this season due to a neck injury.
