The Knicks announced center Tyson Chandler is out 4-6 weeks because of a small non-displaced fractured right fibula.
The injury happened Tuesday against the Bobcats when guard Kemba Walker banged knees with Chandler. The Knicks big man was forced to immediately exit the game and needed help getting to the locker room.
Initial X-ray testing revealed inconclusive results with further testing to occur on Wednesday. And those tests showed the slight fracture.
