Camelo Anthony Injury
An MRI revealed New York Knicks star Carmelo Anthony suffered a small tear in his left shoulder. The injury took place at the end of the regular season. The Knicks and Anthony hope to avoid surgery with some rest.
Tony Parker Precautionary MRI
Spurs point guard Tony Parker will undergo a precautionary MRI on his left calf. This will serve as a check up for a recent injury. He is not expected to miss Game 3 of the Western Conference finals. Despite being limited by his left calf, Parker had a career best of 18 assist in Game 2 of the Western Conference finals Tuesday night. The Spurs lead the series 2-0.
Phoenix Suns Search for New Head Coach
The Phoenix Suns’ search for a new head coach is well underway. The Suns’ new general manager Ryan McDonough is overseeing the process and has already reached out to J.B. Bickerstaff of the Houston Rockets and Steve Clifford of the L.A. Lakers as potential candidates.
