National League chooses Matt Harvey for All-Star start

Nothing is official yet, but Andy Martino of the New York Daily News reports what everyone has been assuming: Matt Harvey will start the All-Star game for the National League.

Martino notes that Harvey will be just the third pitcher in MLB history to start the All-Star game in his home ballpark, joining Carl Hubbell of the Giants in 1934 and Esteban Loaiza of the White Sox in 2003.
