Nassib Leads Syracuse Against Struggling USF
That's a combination that could make it difficult for South Florida to snap a five-game losing streak that's raised questions about coach Skip Holtz's future.
Besides ranking last in the Big East in total defense, USF is the only FBS team in the nation without an interception. That makes them vulnerable against Nassib, who's thrown for 2,164 yards and 13 touchdowns this season while helping Syracuse (3-4, 2-1) to a promising start in conference play.
USF (2-5, 0-3) has won six of seven meetings between the teams since joining the league in 2005, with the lone loss to the Orange coming at Raymond James Stadium two years ago.
