NASL Announces VOIT Official Match Ball Partnership
The North American Soccer League has announced a partnership with VOIT that will include the sporting goods manufacturer providing official NASL-branded match balls for matches and events.
VOIT adds the North American Soccer League to its impressive soccer portfolio having been the official ball provider to the Mexican Liga MX since 1987. VOIT has a presence in 15 countries worldwide, manufacturing goods for soccer, basketball, volleyball, swimming and fitness.

The quality and reliability of VOIT match balls meet the high standards demanded by leagues such as Liga MX and the NASL.
The new NASL VOIT balls will be used for the first time by invited players participating at the 2014 NASL Combine being held at UC Irvine from January 24-26 and will be provided to each of the NASL teams for use during preseason training camps.
When the 2014 NASL Spring Season kicks off on the weekend of April 12/13, an official NASL-branded VOIT ball will be on the center circle at each match.
FIFA and the NASL have certificated the VOIT NASL2014 after extensive engineering design, analysis, and play testing, said VOIT Director Cesar Pizano. The technology of VOIT NASL2014 developed by VOIT, allows a perfect balance for improved ball sphericity and minimal water intake during match action.
VOIT NASL2014 was also created within a four-layer textured cover construction that not only helps to generate an optimal first touch for precision ball control, but also a high elasticity response layer to create a more powerful stability, and it meets the standards of FIFA with 30,000 hits without deformation.
The official VOIT NASL2014 match ball was unveiled at the annual NSCAA Convention in Philadelphia as Atlanta Silverbacks Technical Director Eric Wynalda, 2013 NASL Golden Boot (top scorer) winner and recent Tampa Bay Rowdies signing Brian Shriver, and NASL Soccer Bowl-winning midfielder Danny Szetela of the New York Cosmos tried out the ball for the first time.
