Wes Welker Signs With Denver

John Elway announced Wednesday that Wes Welker has signed a twp-year deal with the Denver Broncos.

Welker leaves the New England Patriots, where he was one of the most productive receivers in the NFL during his six seasons there.

Welker and the Patriots could not come to a contract to bring him back, and so the 31-year-old receiver will join Peyton Manning in Denver.

Welker caught 118 passes for 1,354 yards and six touchdowns in 2012 for New England.
