NHL RUMORS: Vincent Lecavalier
Vincent Lecavalier may find himself on the trade block again, so says TSN. He didn’t have the greatest of seasons with the Philadelphia Flyers, in which he averaged just 10:41 minutes per game in the playoffs.
However, he has a no-movement clause. While Flyers GM Ron Hextall has reportedly already talked to his agent, Kent Hughes, about the possibility of trading him, it remains to be seen if Lecavalier will waive off any potential trade.
It may sound silly to think that there won’t be any teams that would kill to claim him, but he’s 34 years old now and he hasn’t scored more than 54 goals in any of his last four seasons.
