Matt Joyce Drives In A Pair Of Runs In Rays 7-1 Victory Over Indians

Matt Joyce suggest that the team may have been tired the last couple of games.  He said personally he felt it a little bit coming back home and playing on the turf on top of playing some long games.

On Saturday night he chipped in two runs batted in for the Rays both on sacrifice flies. He now has seven sacrifice flies on the seaosn which leads the major leagues. His two sacrifice flies in one game ties the franchise record which has been accomplished fifteen times most recently by B.J. Upton on April 22, 2012 versus the Minnesota Twins.

The two runs batted in gave him his first multi-RBI game since April 23rd against the Minnesota Twins and snapped a streak of nine consecutive games without a RBI.
