The UCF men’s basketball team is set for its home opener tonight as visiting Alabama State comes to town. Tip off from the UCF Arena is schedule for 7 p.m. The Knights enter tonight with a 1-0 record following a 74-56  road-victory over rival USF.

In the USF win, the Knights were led by junior guard Isaiah Sykes, who nearly compiled a triple double, with 26 points, 11 rebounds and a career-high eight assists. Senior center Keith Clanton also impressed while managing a double double of his own (16 points, 16 boards).

Alabama State is 0-2 following losses to Middle Tennessee State and No. 10 Florida. In the two losses, the Hornets have been defeated by a total margin of 93 points.
