Titans Fear Locker Could Be Out 4-8 Weeks

Titans_Jake_Locker_2012The Tennessee Titans are still awaiting more tests on quarterback Jake Locker’s injured hip, but the belief is he could miss four to eight weeks, sources told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.

The team does not believe it to be a season-ending injury as of Monday morning. Initial X-rays were negative, but Locker was sent to the hospital for further evaluation is expected to undergo additional testing Monday.

Locker was carted off the field and taken to the hospital by ambulance after injuring his hip during Sunday’s 38-13 win over the New York Jets.
