Tim Tebow is touring with the SEC Network for the 2014 season while being featured as part of a two-hour pregame show. He is touring in advance this summer, and while he was in Nashville got asked about his status as an NFL quarterback. No doubt, he isn’t giving up on his NFL dream.
“I’m training every day and feel like I’m the best that I’ve ever been,” Tebow said, via Mike Organ of The Tennessean. “I still love it, love playing, talking about it, and I’m just excited about whatever the future holds. Who knows what could happen? But I’m excited about it, though.”
At this point, everyone but Tebow thinks he’s going to end up announcing college football till he croaks. He last played in the NFL in 2011, as a starter. His last completed pass was on November 8, 2012. If he doesn’t get a shot at seeing NFL action between now and the start of the season, he’ll be two years without seeing the field.
