FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — As the No. 3 quarterback on the New England Patriots’ depth chart, Tim Tebow’s roster spot is far from guaranteed. On Tuesday, he deflected a question about whether he was worried about being out of a job with the NFL’s cut-down days around the corner.
“Just worried about improving every single day and having fun out there at practice,” he said.
When asked if a situation like this makes him hungry, Tebow turned jokester.
“No, I eat enough,” he said, smiling.
The Patriots have to cut their roster from 90 (they are currently at 84) to 75 by next Tuesday and then down to 53 on Aug. 31. New England has carried three quarterbacks on the roster just once in the past four seasons.
