Stars Looking at a Playoff Run The Second Half Of The Season

The Dallas Stars haven’t been to the playoffs since 2008, but they’ve got a great chance to end that drought in 2014.

“We talked as a team today that we put together a heck of a run just before we left,” coach Lindy Ruff said, per the Dallas Morning News. “We’ve put ourselves in a good position.”

Indeed, the Stars went into the Olympic break on a 6-1-2 run, and tonight, they host Carolina in their first of 24 down the stretch, and with a chance to move back in front of Vancouver for the final playoff spot in the West.
