Seahawks Set Super Bowl Time Leading Record


According to the NFL and league statistician Elias Sports Bureau, the Seahawks led for a Super Bowl-record 59 minutes and 48 seconds in Sunday’s rout at MetLife Stadium. Moreover, the Seahawks also set a record by scoring 12 seconds into the game. An errant snap led to safety, giving Seattle a 2-0 lead, one it never relinquished en route to the franchise’s first-ever Super Bowl victory.
