The San Francisco 49ers officially introduced Levi’s Stadium Thursday and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, who was at the ceremony, suggested that the Raiders could share Levi’s Stadium.
“They have to make that determination, whether they’re in a new stadium in Oakland or whether they feel that it’s best to join this stadium,” Goodell said, according to the Bay Area Sports Guy. “We’re working on that, and that’s one of the decisions they’ll have to make.”
But Raiders owner Mark Davis isn’t interested. Earlier in February said that if progress isn’t made for a new home the team could relocate altogether.
“I don’t want to call it a last-ditch effort, but it does seem to be the last chance that Oakland is going to get,” Davis told the San Francisco Chronicle. “We can’t continue to play in that stadium (which they share with the Oakland A’s), with the baseball field and all of that stuff.”
