Rex Grossman will continue his Redskins career, as the former Gator quarterback has resigned with Washington, according to ProFootballTalk’s Mike Florio.
Grossman, a first-round pick in 2003 by the Chicago Bears, has spent the last three seasons in Washington.
He will backup Robert Griffin III and Kirk Cousins.
Griffin III is recovering from a torn ACL, which could be a reason why the Redskins have decided to keep Grossman.
The team could enter training camp with four quarterbacks on the roster, as multiple reports indicate the Redskins could bring in former Miami Dolphins second-round pick Pat White.
White is trying to make an NFL comeback.
