Kings Being Sold To Seattle Group, Sonics Return

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports the Maloof family is finalizing a deal to sell the Sacramento Kings to Hansen-Ballmer, a Seattle based group.  The group will then relocate the team to Seattle with support of the NBA.

Seattle has been without a team since 2008 when the Sonics moved to Oklahoma City to become the Thunder.  The city of Seattle has retained the rights to the Sonics nickname, therefore the new team in question would assumed to take on the old moniker.
