Rams Sign Quinn, Davis

ST. LOUIS (AP) — After placing Sam Bradford (Torn ACL) on injured reserve earlier in the week, the St. Louis Rams have signed Brady Quinn and Austin Davis.

Quinn, a first-round pick by the Browns in 2007, was cut by the Jets on Monday and Davis was brought back after losing the back-up role to Kellen Clemens in training camp. Clemens, who has served as the backup for the past two years, will make his first start since 2011 Monday night against the Seahawks.

In a corresponding move to to clear roster space, the team has released offensive lineman Brandon Washington and linebacker Jonathan Stewart.
