Phil Mickelson Withdraws From Farmer’s Open


Phil Mickelson withdrew from the Farmers Insurance Open late on Friday night because of a muscle pain in his back, according to a statement released by his management team.

The bum back had been an issue all week for Mickelson and he gave interviews on both Thursday and Friday afternoon after his rounds in which he insinuated he wouldn’t keep playing.
