Dallas Stars’ Rich Peverley had a scary moment last season when he collapsed on the bench due to a cardiac event. He has since had a procedure to correct the issue but that doesn’t mean he is ready to hit the ice.
“I’m not exactly sure what’s going to happen, but I’m hoping to play and it’s got to be under the right circumstances,” Peverley told The Ticket 1310 AM in Dallas, per NHL.com.
Peverly hasn’t exercised yet and is still on medication and also knows that if he can’t play anymore there is always life after hockey.
