Last night the San Diego Padres traded away All-Star closer Huston Street to the Los Angeles Angels. The Padres have already resigned themselves for not making the playoffs and the Street trade is a sure sign that they are giving up on this season. But the haul they got back from the Angels? Well let’s just say that the Padres didn’t do poorly for themselves. They got the Angels’ number one prospect in Taylor Lindsey, shortstop Jose Rondon, reliever R.J. Alvarez and right-hander Elliot Morris. All of these players will surely help the Padres moving forward.
