Orlando City Soccer to Play in Citrus Bowl

The Orlando City Soccer Club is waiting for their brand new stadium to be built in downtown Orlando, but while they wait, they have made plans to play their 2015 season at the renovated Citrus Bowl.

The Lions will play in their brand new stadium in 2016, assuming it’s complete by then.

According to the Orlando Sentinel, there were unexpected delays in acquiring the final piece of land for the new stadium. They want their fans to enjoy the season, without traveling to different venues within the city, which is why they chose the Citrus Bowl.
