Long Tan, originally from China, has come the farthest. Then there is Pulis, who is from Bristol, England, and played for various clubs in Great Britain before coming to Orlando in 2012. Midfielder James O’Connor, 33, was born in Dublin, Ireland, left home when he was 16 to play in England and arrived in the United States two years ago.
