NHL: Cooke Won’t Appeal Suspension

Matt Cooke, one of the league’s most controversial players, was suspended for a knee-on-knee hit on Tyson Barrie. Cooke received a seven game suspension and some thought he would appeal the suspension but he isn’t going to appeal. If the Minnesota Wild do not advance past the first round, then Cooke will resume his suspension going into next season.
