Jay introduces Jimmy Roberts from the Golf Channel, and they discuss Tiger Woods and whether he can pass Jack Nicklaus’ record of 18 major titles. He launches a discussion about Johnny Manziel and whether the ongoing stories about autograph signings for pay will cost him eligibility at Texas A&M . He thinks Alabama vs. Texas A&M will be a bigger event than anything we will see in the NFL for the next few months. Jay states that Tim Tebow is important to “The Patriot Way,” and explains why he will make the team. He speaks about the death of a fan at Turner Fields in Atlanta and how we can prevent these tragedies. Lastly, he covers MLB and the lack of diversity in TV broadcast booths.


Hour Two on The Jay Mariotti Show: August 13, 2013: 
In hour two, Jay takes calls from listeners and answers questions about the lack of African-Americans in network TV baseball broadcast booths, and MLB diversity. He discusses if it’s unfair to keep Pete Rose banned for life when Alex Rodriguez is not. Jay also applauds Albert Pujols for suing Jack Clark over reckless steroids comments.


Hour Three on The Jay Mariotti Show: August 13, 2013: 
Jay continues discussion on Manziel, A-Rod, and Pete Rose. He discusses Hard Knocks, and advances his Robin Thicke pool party in Vegas.
