Monday night, the Magic scored a franchise-low 56 points against the Boston Celtics in Boston. 56 points in a full game. It didn’t help that they also lost by 31 points, but they got their shot at redemption at home on Thursday night.
This game was much different. For instance, the Magic put up 58 points… by the halftime break. However, they scored an abysmal 25 points in the second half, including just eight in the fourth quarter. The Magic lost the fourth quarter by 19 points, and lost the game by eight, 91-83.
Boston, still not even a .500 team at 8-9, has won two impressive games against the Magic. A lot had to go wrong for Orlando to blow that game, and a lot did.
