With the Los Angeles Lakers struggling to get back to form as one of the league’s elite with the new-look roster led by Kobe Bryant and Dwight Howard, the team’s front office is exploring options in free agency and via trade to upgrade certain positions, bolster the bench and ultimately reach the team’s potential.
The Lakers have also been linked to veteran guard Raja Bell. Los Angeles has shown interest in the journeyman for a few years now, but nothing has come to fruition in terms to agreeing to a deal as he chose the Utah Jazz over the Lakers back in 2010.
Another player that the Lakers have reportedly shown interest in is free agent forward Mickael Pietrus according to Marc J. Spears of Yahoo Sports via Twitter.
