MIAMI (AP) — Clayton Kershaw allowed five hits in eight innings to lower his ERA to 1.72, best in the majors, and the Los Angeles Dodgers won their third game in a row by beating the Miami Marlins 6-0.
Kershaw (13-7) struck out six and walked three. Miami’s leadoff batter reached in five innings against the left-hander, but the Marlins hit into three double plays and went 0 for 7 with runners in scoring position.
Former All-Star closer Brian Wilson made his first major-league appearance since undergoing Tommy John surgery and pitched the ninth, allowing one hit while striking out two. It was his first game since April 2012.
