Jadeveon Clowney Clocks An Amazing 4.47 At Combine

Jadeveon Clowney

According to multiple sources, former South Carolina Gamecocks defensive end Jadeveon Clowney ran a 4.47 at the NFL Combine Monday morning.

Per Pro Football Talk, the fastest 40 for a defensive lineman at last year’s combine was 4.60 seconds.

Two years ago, Bruce Irvin was considered a freakish athlete who propelled himself into the first round when he ran a 4.50-second 40 at 245 pounds. Clowney weighs 266 pounds.

Desmond Wallace of ESPN says that Clowney’s time was faster than 73 of the running backs, wide recievers and quarterbacks that ran yesterday…and he’s a defensive end.
