Insider: UCF falls to Middle Tennessee State

The UCF Knights (3-1) dropped their first game of the season 75-61 against Middle Tennessee State (3-1) Tuesday at the UCF Arena. The Knights battled in the first half but struggled in the second half.

Throughout the game the lead changed eight times and the score was tied nine times. At the end of the first half the Knights lead 33-30. But during the second half, the Knights lost the lead and couldn’t overcome the double digit deficit.

The Knights blamed selfish playing for their second half problems and are hoping to fix those problems during practice later on in the week.

Up next, UCF will hit the road to play the Gators in Gainesville Friday at 4 p.m.
