Indians Extend Jason Kipnis To 6-Year Deal


The Cleveland Indians have extended Jason Kipnis to a six-year deal with a seventh year option, Buster Olney reports. According to Paul Hoynes of the Northeast Ohio Media Group, the deal guarantees $52.5 million.

The team officially announced the deal and there will be a press conference later today.

Kipnis had his first American League All-Star selection in 2013, hitting .284 (160-564).
