The Houston Astros had the first overall selection in the 2014 MLB Draft. With that pick, they selected Brady Aiken. Now they may not actually have Brady Aiken as they failed to sign the first overall pick as they weren’t able to come to an agreement. This is not a good sign for the Astros as they have been perennial bottom dwellers in baseball. They lose out on a top pick but since they gave him the allotted forty percent, they will get the number two overall pick in next year’s draft. However, Aiken’s agent Casey Close is unhappy with how the process went down and it seems that will paint the Astros in a negative picture.
