Los Angeles Dodgers infielder Hanley Ramirez hit a home run last night but matters only got worse for him. He left the game in the seventh inning with a bruised right finger. The injury was caused after he hit a sharp ground ball.
There is some good news though. The Los Angeles Times reports that X-Rays came back negative.
After the game manager Don Mattingly said he would “miss a couple of games” but “you never know with day-to-day.”
This isn’t the first time he’s had problems with his hand. Ramirez tore a tendon in his right thumb diving for a ball in the World Baseball Classic in 2013.
