Jordan Spieth Finishes An Incredible Rookie Season

Jordan_Spieth_2013Jordan Spieth’s rookie season was like something out of a fictional golf novel. A little over the top and not totally believable.

Except that I watched it with my own eyes and I watched the 19-year-old rookie with zero PGA Tour status transform himself into a 20-year-old superstar who led the PGA Tour in top 10 finishes (!) and swiped a spot on the Presidents Cup squad from Jim Furyk.

Most impressive, maybe, was his finish in the FedEx Cup race. Spieth finished seventh, ahead of Phil Mickelson, Brandt Snedeker, Justin Rose, Jason Day, and Dustin Johnson (among many others).
