Denver Broncos left tackle Ryan Clady believes that the Broncos can make it back to the Super Bowl. Clady wasn’t able to participate in the festivities last year because he missed the last 14 games and all of the post-season with a Lisfranc injury in his foot.
He’s expected to be okay for the start of the 2014 season and he’s thinking there’s a strong chance the Broncos can repeat their success.
“It was definitely tough, not being able to control what was going on out there. It was probably one of the hardest games I have ever watched,” Clady said, via the Denver Post. “It’s part of the game. Injuries happen. … But barring injuries we should have an awesome team, and we should be able to make it back to the Super Bowl.”
He joins the ranks of John Fox, John Elway, and others who are optimistic about the upcoming season, despite losing 43-8 to the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XLVIII. Anything less than a Super Bowl victory will be counted as a disappointment in Denver.
