The Atlanta Braves have finally released Dan Uggla. The Braves signed Uggla in hopes of having his power help them in the NL East but that hasn’t been the case. Since coming to Atlanta, Uggla has struggled mightily and was benched back in May of this year. Uggla has hit .175/.295/.332 since last season and he is still owed around $19 million. Uggla may be able to find a chance with another team who is willing to give up a roster spot in hopes that he finds his power.
