The Chicago Bears had a press conference today to officially announce the signing of Brandon Marshall‘s new contract.
The receiver got a new three-year contract extension, which keeps him in Chicago until the 2017 season and at aforementioned press conference, Marshall praised head coach Marc Trestman, saying he’s “the best in the business” and thanked him for putting him in a position to succeed.
“So thankful that you’re here, coach,” Marshall said. “Coach is amazing,” Marshall said via Pro Football Talk. He said his trade to Chicago was “career-saving.” He’s had some trouble in Miami and Denver.
