Linebacker Brad Jones took a trip to Tennessee, but he’s going to be remaining up north.
Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports that Jones has agreed to terms on a deal that will keep him with the Packers for at least one more year. No terms of the deal have been reported.
Jones stepped into the lineup after Desmond Bishop and D.J. Smith were lost for the year to injuries and was playing his best football at the end of the season. It was his first extended time as an inside linebacker and did well enough to generate interest from the Titans and others as a free agent. He finished the year with 77 tackles, two sacks and a forced fumble.
