The Bills gave RB C.J. Spiller 14 touches during his return to the field Sunday against the Chiefs. Spiller responded with 155 total yards.
Spiller now appears to be fully healthy and ready to contribute even more against the Steelers.
Spiller suffered a high ankle sprain Oct. 20 against the Dolphins, a usually lingering injury, and the fact that Spiller isn’t listed on the injury report and that the team expects him to get more carries throughout the remainder of the season is a major positive for the Bills.
Although, more carries for Spiller doesn’t necessarily mean less of Tashard Choice, as the Bills intend to continue their rotation with Spiller and Jackson getting the bulk of the carries and Choice stealing a couple along the way.
