Airline Loses Rory McIlroy’s Clubs

After finishing at the U.S. Open this weekend, Rory McIlroy hopped an airplane across the Atlantic to play in the Irish Open, which starts Thursday at Fota Island Resort in Cork.

It’s humbling to know that airline screw-ups happen to the rich and famous as well. The only difference is when we lose our luggage, we don’t lose thousands of dollars of equipment. When McIlroy loses his luggage, he loses his fully customized clubs.

United responded two hours later.

They have ‘good’ news too.
