12 Saints Are Questionable For Thursday

new_orleans_saints1Almost a quarter of the Saints roster landed on the injury report for Thursday night’s game against the Falcons and they’re all listed as questionable.

The most worrisome of the lot would probably be running back Darren Sproles, who hasn’t practiced either of the last two days with knee and ankle issues. The Saints offense should have enough weapons to succeed against a vulnerable Falcons defense, but things tend to go better for them when Sproles is in the lineup.

Right guard Jahiri Evans (ankle) also missed practice this week and tight end Jimmy graham (ankle) is also questionable but, like Sproles, both wer able to play through their injuries against the 49ers.

Other questionable players on the injury report include defensive end Cam Jordan (ankle), guard Ben Grubbs (neck), cornerback Rod Sweeting (hip), safety Kenny Vaccaro (concussion), defensive end Tyrunn Walker (knee), linebacker Curtis Lofton (hamstring/ankle), tight end Ben Watson (concussion), cornerback Chris Carr (hip/back/hamstring), and defensive tackle Akiem Hicks (back).
